Great location and super breakfast

Really central and the staff were all very friendly. Nothing too much trouble.

Bathroom was a little bit on the cosy side ( single shower tray) but no complaints. Water was lovely and hot.

Homely and welcoming. Large bedrooms with comfy beds and cotton sheets. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Food good, particularly the full English breakfast. Oldie worldly relaxing vibes

We were lucky to get a parking space on the front of the hotel but it would’ve been very inconvenient if we’d had to park in the town and walk back with luggage. Some areas were a bit tired, but we overlooked those as it’s a very old property and they appear to be working hard to update.

Recently renovated room, more than happy. Cleanse of bathroom, comfortable bed where we slept sounds. Booked in for an evening meal after a long day out. Have to say the staff were very friendly and the meal was lovely. Breakfast was a good filler to set you up for a day ahead...from fruit, yoghurt and cereal, whilst you waited for your full English breakfast, eggs royal etc. An absolute must all around. Also no need to book 2 night's as fully happy with one night stays.
