The George Inn & Plaine

Les lieux en général, surtout la partie principale, car il s'agit d'un lieu typique chargé d'histoire. Le petit déjeuner. La gentillesse du personnel. L'excellent contact avec la direction de l'établissement qui a bien compris notre déception et qui n'a pas hésité à nous rembourser la nuitée non "consommée". Cette attitude mérité d'être signalée.

Il y a le bâtiment principal George Inn et plus loin à environ 50 mètres l'annexe Plaine et c'est là que le bât blesse. En effet notre chambre (Farleigh) est placée trop près du trafic et mal insonorisée. C'est dommage que cette chambre ternisse le confort global de l'établissement.

Le cadre est exceptionnel à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. Le personnel est au top!

Dormire in una delle locande più antiche del Regno Unito è un'esperienza magnifica. Le stanze sono belle e accoglienti, come anche la sala ristorante per la colazione ed il pub. La colazione è ottima e di qualità, anche se avrei preferito una portata in più.

Beautiful building and the staff were lovely.

We booked via the app a dog friendly room, however when we arrived we were told that we couldn’t have a dog in the room we had booked, so we’re moved to the Plaine across the road for an additional surcharge.

Beautiful place, with history and lovely view, cozy room with all you need.
