Pub and restaurant hadn't been open in months, Pub full of rubbish. 5/6 men wandering around. Given a key and directed to room. Large room, coffee and tea but no kettle, tv didn't work, bed looked clean, toilet clean. Sink, mirror and shower hadn't been cleaned, full of water marks and limescale. Fan in bathroom made an awful screeching noise. We didn't even stay, mostly was worried that the Pub wasn't in use so there wouldn't be anyone around and also concerned what the men were doing in a closed up pub, they definitely were not workmen.

N O parking on the property. Off road parking down a side streets.parking in front of someone home!!

A funny but not unlikeable place. Old building, big rooms, high ceilings, weird modifications. Minimally but adequately furnished. We needed a hotel at short notice that would accept a dog. They did. The room was clean, linen good, bed comfortable. Arrived late & left early, so did not eat, but bar prices were generous. Nothing else nearby except an interesting walk on the sea-wall & beach close by, with a view of the Thames Estuary and the Richard L Montgomery wreck offshore. People were friendly, when you could hear them! See below...

This place runs a disco until midnight. Given the presence of so much high explosive in the wreck nearby, I am surprised the authorities allow such volume! The place is quiet as the grave after the disco stops, but until then... However, everyone in the bar, locals and staff, were very friendly and drinks were cheap. There isn't anywhere else to eat or drink nearby that I could see. The room was clean, but sadly the bathroom not so much. There was a charge for the dog, which is OK, but we weren't told at booking.

Отель находится в самом центре города. Рядом главная улица. Недалеко море. Приятный и отзывчивый персонал. По моей просьбе сменили для меня номер (т.к. в номере было накурено). Есть завтрак (English breakfast).

Отель довольно старый, Кридоры и кафе красивые, но комнаты без современного ремонта и мебели. Если оставаться на выходные, то надо учитывать что внизу отеля находится паб и будет шумно.

Great stay again at this hotel, family room was lovely size and the beds were so comfortable best we have slept in. Hotel staff very friendly and give good service couldn't fault the staff. Breakfast was the best 10/10 full English 😋 very tasty highly recommended.

Locals from pub downstairs spoil this hotel with the shouting and banging around. But all music and people leave by 12. Maybe if your coming for a quiet night sleep maybe ask for a quiet room at back of hotel.
