Breakfast was nice but need more variety. Location was very beautiful.☺️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Wonderful Stay at Citrus Hotel Hikkaduwa! We stayed at Citrus Hotel Hikkaduwa on the 10th and 11th of November and had a truly pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a lovely welcome from Malsha at the front office — she made us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and we were very happy with the value for money of our room. Mr. Kuree from security was also extremely kind and helpful, always smiling and sharing great information about the local area. The food could be improved a bit — we would love to see more variety in the breakfast and dinner buffet — but the service made up for it. Mr. Sahan, our waiter, provided excellent and friendly service throughout our stay. We also met Mr. Dammi, the animator, who was very friendly and made our time even more enjoyable. Overall, we felt like we were staying at home rather than in a hotel, thanks to the warmth of the entire team. Thank you so much to everyone at Citrus Hikkaduwa for making our stay so memorable. Keep up the great work — we hope to visit again soon! 🌴💛

Excellent location, though the breakfast could be improved.

The room condition could be improved as it lacked proper cleanliness.

We vacationed in Citrus Hikkaduwo at the end of October 2025 with our family. We lived on the second floor in a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. Our room was not new, but the staff cleaned it well every day and brought us water, tea and coffee. The room has a lot of places to store clothes - a wardrobe, two cabinets, a large table with a cabinet and a safe, a large mirror on the wall, comfortable beds. Minus - Wi-Fi in the hotel works very poorly, especially in the room. We didn't spend much time at the hotel because we went to turtle beach or further down the coast every day. But on the last day we relaxed on the sun loungers near the pool and got into water aerobics with the animator Demi. It was a good workout, but I think the exercises should be longer and more intense, and it would be good to also do yoga or other activities such as games or dancing. The animator Demi is very sociable and friendly with all the guests. We were delighted with our stay at Citrus Hikkaduwo! Thank you!

Right next to a beautiful beach with clear blue water.

Toiletries didnt include simple items like toothbrushes, combs. Room, even though a deluxe one didnt have an iron.

Liked the views from sea-facing rooms. Breakfast had options for vegetarian food as well. Located on the beach and next to restaurants. Turtle beach half km and Hikkaduwa snorkeling beach around 1 km. Supermarket/fruit shops/travel Agents just opposite to the Hotel. Ambience is great in evening lights. A la carte menu is reasonably priced (even if it has limited options) Beach is beautiful but not suitable for swimming. For swimming/surfing beach is half km away accessible both by road as well through connected beach strip. Kids enjoyed the swing as well.

As it on the main road, u may get to hear vehicles passing nearby, but its manageable. Upside is Tuk-tuk is available round the clock at hotel gate.
