We stayed at Citrus during the New Year, and it was a great experience, the staff were very friendly special thanks to Ravindu at reception for being so helpful and kind.Only downside was no alcohol on the 14th, but it’s understandable 😜 Overall, a lovely stay !

Staff are friendly

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. To begin with, the rooms were not comfortable and definitely not worth the price charged. I had specifically booked a sea view room, but upon arrival, I was given a standard room instead. Only after I raised the issue was my room changed to the correct category. Even after the room change, basic amenities were lacking. There were no towels provided initially, and I had to request them separately, which should not be the case in a properly managed hotel. The food was also below expectations. There was very limited variety, and the overall quality needs significant improvement. Overall, the hotel has a lot to improve in terms of service, room quality, and dining experience. I believe the management, including the owner Mr. Dilith Jayaweera, should be made aware of these issues to ensure better service for future guests.

writing this review to express my deepest gratitude to the team at Citrus Hikkaduwa for their exceptional assistance during a recent stay. After checking out, we discovered that a wedding ring had been left behind in our room. Upon returning to the hotel, the staff handled our distress with the utmost professionalism and urgency. While the entire team was supportive, I would like to specifically commend Mr. Chinthaka for his extraordinary efforts. He demonstrated incredible dedication, leading a meticulous search of the room and even personally sorting through the refuse multiple times to ensure nothing was overlooked. Along with Upul, Chinthaka turned a potential disaster into a success story. The integrity and "extra mile" service culture displayed by Chinthaka are a credit to Citrus Hikkaduwa. We highly recommend this establishment not just for its facilities, but for the world-class caliber of its staff

Stunning sea view that you want to come back for.

We were at the hotel last week. The hotel is good, and I had sea view room 603, most of them are good but there were some dent at the bathroom and cracks at the pool too but nevermind. Every employee are good. Special front office staff is good. I got details about hikkaduwa area and about the hotel for that credit goes to Dylan thanks for that. We will back soon ❤️

We stayed at this hotel as a couple .we had booked half board , the breakfast was good plenty of choice ,the evening meal we only had twice as we didn't like the food at night .the holly is in a good location but a little run down .the staff are very friendly with one exception a small male security guard was constantly walking around with stones in his hand throwing at the wildlife , birds and there was 2 dogs which enjoyed the shade of our sun beds very good natured, but he made them petrified he was one cruel human .to be honest he did spoil our days at times . The rooms had everything you need and cleaned every day .
