MEMORABLE STAY AT CITRUS, HIKKADUWA Stayed two nights at Citrus, Hikkaduwa. It is a 3-star hotel, comparatively small in size, but had everything needed to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Room we occupied was clean and had all basic amenities. Bathroom was very clean too. Buffet had a reasonably good spread for a hotel of that rating and the food was delicious. THANK YOU CHEFF. The Lobby was very airy with a welcoming ambience and was well maintained. More importantly, the services provided by the staff in all departments including the Front Office, Restaurant and Room service were excellent and unmatched in the market place. Everyone provided an excellent service but HATS OFF to few staff whom we dealt with, for their excellent service, namely -Tharindu Kumara (F/O), Dulanjana (F/O), Amanda (F/O intern), Madushanka (Res), Shehan (Res), Dimanthi (Res) and Chalaka (Res). Room service was outstanding too and attended to all our requests promptly and accurately without any delay. Guys, you didn’t just serve us but always made sure your guests were happy and having the best guest experience. Thank you for your excellent service. We wish you all the very best. Revisiting Hotel Citrus Hikkaduwa was an absolute delight for our entire family. From the moment we arrived, we were reminded why this place holds such a special spot in our hearts. The kids had an amazing time soaking in the sea, playing in the sand, and discovering the incredible variety of sea life surrounding the hotel. Every day felt like a new little adventure for them. A huge part of what made our stay exceptional was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. A heartfelt thank you to Dhanuska and the wonderful front office team — Nadun, Sandun, and Damith — for their warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. We also want to express our thanks to the service team: Chinthaka, Nandana, Nuwan, and Kushalya. Your attentiveness truly made our stay comfortable and memorable. And of course, we can’t forget Kusumsiri, Kumara, and Dinesh, whose dedication and kindness added so much to our experience. Thank you all for making our return visit so special. Great ocean view, amazing staff and that is it. Rooms very tired, black mould in bathrooms even after a room change to superior deluxe room, not any better, food luke warm and limited choice, bar that turns into a swimming pool every time it rains, Classed as 4 star, in my opinion not even 2 star
