Villa Gonatouki

Stay at Gonatouki was made pleasant by Bruno who took very good care of us and was very hospitable.

Isolated hotel, a bit drive from town. Wonderful for relaxing, quiet escape.

Since the email from the owner was lost in Spam filter we had a difficult time finding the place. But we didn't have the gps, just a taxi driver who didn't speak our language, nor us his. But once we were there we were welcomed enthusiastically, given a free upgrade to our room and we soon felt we should have stayed more than three nights. The food is fabulous, probably better than any place in town, even the breakfasts were good albiet the traditional Moroccan breads, jams and fruit. A car would be helpful at this location although you can get a ride or taxi for about 18 euros round trip to Essouira.

We decided to stay here on very short notice and can not say anything but positive things about this hotel. The staff we're amazing and the photos on the website did not do this venue justice. The rooms were amazing and really well appointed. We only stayed for two nights but wish we had stayed for longer. We will be going back.

This is an amazing home. It is very large with wonderful rooms and atmosphere. The owner was not present when we stayed but his staff made us very welcome and cooked us delicious food. You definitely need a car as the Villa is located down a very poor road. The location is very quiet. It does however need a little bit of TLC to bring it up to top quality.

We had the most amazing stay and was made even better by the owner Bruno, who made everyone so welcome. We couldn't recommend this place anymore. One of our best holidays we've ever been on. The staff were so helpful and catered to our every need. 100% recommended

We had a lovely three days here. Great place for relaxing and the staff are wonderful.

I cannot say enough about this hotel! we were upgraded to a grand suite free of charge and that set the tone for the rest of our stay. It is total relaxation, we loved it!! the food and staff were unbelievable and even when we had to leave at 5am they were up cooking our breakfast and seeing us off. We have recommended this hotel to all of our family's and will be returning for another visit most definitely.

I can not say enough amazing things about this place! They made us feel so welcome, as if it was our own home. We had everything we could have wanted and were treated like kings and queens. The food was AMAZING. The Villa is absolutely STUNNING. Great value for money. Amazing amzaing holiday. The owner Bruno literally bent over backwards for us to ensure we had a great stay. Location is a little far from the main town but that didn't matter as we didn't want to leave the villa! Totally amazing and we will definitely be going back next year! :-)

We had a great time in this warm, romantic and very well decorated house. It's a great spot for anyone who wants some peaceful time away from the city. It takes about 10 min from essaouira by car (on a stony and dusty road). However, the hosts make you feel very comfortable as soon as you enter the house and care about each of your requests. I highly recommand you Villa Gonatouki for a romantic stay or amongst friends (the house is huge)
