Cinnamon Wild Yala

Hotel was really good and the food was tasty. The safari wasn't that great. The whole park entry is quite hard work with an inefficient ticket entry and queueing system. The entire safari is limited to road tracks with 250+ jeeps in the park. The wildlife is very limited and tricky to see because they avoid the noisy jeep filled roads. Don't bother if the Safari is the reason for the trip. Save your money and do an African one. Hotel was really good though.

Nice hotel, but very expensive for what you get. May have been because we stayed over Christmas. Staff were slow to respond to food and drink orders, or even take us to our room when we arrived. The room was nice, and there was a wide variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Animals on site is also a treat. Safari tours with the hotel are extremely expensive, we found one externally and paid around half the price per person and did a safari that lasted 2 hours longer.

Its a good experience to be in the jungle chalet and walking around the chalet you can get to see wild boars which is huge, squirrels , hare and once we spotted an elephant near the lake. Lots of butterflies and birds which you can see taking a stroll round the hotel and the beach is so clean and nice.

The resort is set on the edge of the game park with elephants, wild bore, black face monkeys, crocodiles and deer all to been seen within the resort or looking out from the resort. Also great facilities. Try the beach front bungalows.

We stayed only one night - and wished we could have stayed longer! Fantastic facilities and really laid back vibe. Went on afternoon safari and saw a variety of animals including a shadowy leopard through the trees.

Staff were very nice and the room was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

The staff were fantastic, the room as amazing and Hotels.com was really easy to use for the booking. We saw two leopards on Safari and had the most fantastic time!

Excellent hotel , 5 mins from YALA national park. Good food, great attentive service and great rooms and pool. Prince took care of our room and and was very nice. ( They have drivers quarters too) Next to wilderness and we saw crocs, birds, monkeys and a leopard sighting! Peaceful - you can hear ocean waves but too rough to swim. Highly recommend and would go back.

The service was really bad. Specially when it came to sorting out a lens for the safari. Their website clearly states you could rent this lens from the counter. How ever the guy at the counter refused to lend us one. So if you are going to this hotel and planning on renting a lens please makes sure you bring one as it isn't a service they offer anymore. False advertising on their website. Further the food standards have gone down hill. I try and stay at this hotel once every two years and must say that every year I find the hotels good quality has gone down hill.

Great location and a very lovely cabana so beautifully appointed and comfortable. Could hear the sea and a wild elephant walked through the camp!
