I love the place!!! The service!!!

I loved the location and the very helpful and friendly staff. The location was quiet and peaceful and just a perfect location for walking to the historical center. I loved the it is in front of the river.

Excellent staff and location quite comfortable. Only things that could be improved are. Coffee, restaurant noise, no cleanex, the soap basket in the shower had too big of gaps and the soaps fell out and you could hear the water pump. Also the TV was too small for the distance to the bed. Little improvements to make it a real boutique hotel.

Nice small hotel close to downtown Queretaro. The rooms are on the simple side but very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff very nice and the seafood place next door is los pretty good. Would definitely recommend it.

Came here with our young daughter and although the hotel was pleasant looking and rooms looked nice enough the beds were hard, uncomfortable for me and the pillows were the lumpy kind! The noise was another matter...... unfortunately none of us managed to sleep well at all for the two nights we stayed! There is a bar on the top floor that has load music till gone 1am! On Saturday night the building next door had a very load party....... we were on the ground floor and one could hear a coin drop from the room above; literally! The water pipes rattled through the night when anyone used the bathroom........ sad to say that it was a nightmare stay. Such a shame as the staff were super friendly and very accommodating........ shall not be coming again under any circumstances.

Small, comfortable hotel, around 10 -15min walk to Downtown Queretaro. Very clean, nice small pool. Includes light breakfast, when you say you want it they serve it right away, we ate by the pool.

This hotel is very unassuming from the outside, I was certain it was going to be a dive, but it is charming inside and allows pets! The rooms on the bottom floor seem a bit larger than the rooms on the top floor, but they are all very clean. The hotel includes free WiFi, free parking and free breakfast, large screen t.v.'s, ceiling fans and a warm pool. It is a simple place, but nice. The room we stayed in had wooden floors, which is a nice touch as well.

great staff. Very nice hotel. Needs small upgrades. More wifi coverage. New TV controls. Like I said small. But excellent location.

My colleague and I had a trip planned to Queretaro for 3 nights. Through much discussion (and circumstance), we agreed on the Quinta Rio. I love this little hotel! The rooms are clean and face an inner courtyard. Never once did I have any reason for concern regarding cleanliness. The staff do their utmost to ensure your stay is comfortable. I have to give kudos to Luis, one of the hotel's clerks, for helping us out with nearly every question and need we had! As a previous client mentioned, breakfast is minimal but gives you a decent start. We had fruit plates (sliced kiwi/mango/cantalope) along with a small basket of breads, fresh squeezed orange juice, and coffee. Quinta Rio is generally within walking distance to El Centro and a multitude of shops and restaurants. Lots of sights to see. Brush up on your Rosetta Stone if you are not fluent in espanol, though generally us anglos can find someone who will understand us :) Business travellers take note: despite some other web pages saying there is, there is NOT a business center. That said, the front desk will help you out as much as possible if you need to print documents. Again, a shout out to Luis, who made that happen :) I can not comment on parking, as we used other transportation to and from the airport. If I ever make it back to Queretaro, I would not hesitate to stay here again :)

Queretaro is a nice town north of Mexico City with some good churches and museums and lots going on in and around the collection of shady squares in the central area. Hotel Quinta Rio is an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of town. Parking at the hotel isn't easy but they are great at whisking your car away and finding a safe place to put it - you won't need it in the town. The folks at reception are very helpful and friendly. There are a range of different rooms, ours was by the pool, a Junior King room at a very affordable price - the pool, though, was too cold to use (it was the middle of the Mexican winter!).But there were places to sit out around the pool area - and other spaces up on the terraces and roof. Breakfast was included, served in a small room by the reception desk. It was adequate, and given they have no kitchen facilities and bring it in from outside that was acceptable. There is a young folks cafe next door which gets quite rowdy but we couldn't hear them in our room. We ate some great meals in town. Enjoyed the hotel a lot, would have no hesitation in going there again.
