Quinta Río Boutique Hotel

There are every few hôtel options in the historic part of Queretaro. And at $65 per night it is very good value and very secure with only one way into the compound and staff at the main entry at all times. The staff here are very friendly and will bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very tight for two travellers, and there is no ventilation or fan exhaust in the rooms so the rooms can become very humid feeling. This is not so good in the winter when it is only 40 dégrées at night and there is no heat source in the rooms, There are also no A/C units for the summer. There is a small pool and nice outdor sitting area and they serve a light breakfast of fresh fruit and bread in the morning with coffee or tea in your room or around the pool. One of the best parts of the hôtel is the Taco Bar right next door which serves the best restuarant tacos that I have had so far in Mexico, do not miss going there, it is a happening place every night until closing.

We had a very nice stay a Quinta Lili. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is located a short walk from the Centro Historico and the area is safe. The room we had (Amber)was clean, bright and comfortable but a bit small. There are bigger rooms but we did not ask as we were there only for two nights. There is a church nearby with bells ringing at odd times but we managed a good night sleep. Overall good choice.

Should NOT be labeled as "Boutique Hotel". The ceiling near our closet was leaking, the shower room wall has mold and the next door neighbor were having loud live music party that lasted until 3am in the morning. We came back from an all day trip looking forward to some good night sleep but was not the case! the Manager told us the music will end around 10pm, but then it didn't end at 10pm. We reported the several times, the manager keep telling us lies to keep us off his back and didn't do anything about it--the music was super loud until 3am in the morning. NONE of us got any sleep that night. They promised to refund us 1000pesos for the leaking ceiling but when we checked out the manager lied again. He tried to screw us on the refund, we fought back because it s now a matter of principle that they should not lie to us. Never again will stay at this hotel. P.S. the servers were super nice, EXCEPT for the management.

Small hotel with an excellent location three blocks from downtown Queretaro. Clean and roomy. Comfortable bed. Complimentary breakfast that can be served in your room or by the pool. Very convenient. Personnel always looking to help. Overall experience was excellent.

Based on its high rating on Tripadvisor we booked at this hotel and are glad we did. While only in Queretaro for one night we were able to easily tour the historical district and had a great meal at one of the local restaurants. The room and bed were wonderful as were the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful.

I went to Queretaro to visit my friend. I loved my room, la luna. The bed was huge, the rooms were very clean. Loved the bathroom. The staff were super friendly and even helped me get a taxi to the airport when flying back to US. I knew enough Spanish to get around but the staff knows some English too. The area was beautiful. No need to take a cab to the centro because it was a fun walk. Great experience, loved Queretaro, loved the hotel. I will definitely come back someday!

The staff was extremely generous with their time to answer questions.Room was lovely.Bathroom small but compact.

I went with my mother and she had a great time. Room # 10 Jade, was very nice, clean. The service and the staff is great!!! We enjoyed all the tours that the hotel offered To La Pena de Bernal, the cheese and the wine tour. Queretaro very friendly.

wow! that about sums this hotel up! Our room #4 Sol was so comfortable, and right outside the pool area, which we loved, because we could just walk out our door and enjoy the beautiful courtyard, the pool and the weather! Maria, who kept our room spotless, was so friendly, always greeting us with a smile... and the rest of the staff did as well, tho i didn't get their names ... the front desk personnel spoke pretty good english so it was easy for us to find out any info that we needed ... we loved the location, because we weren't right in the busy historic district and enjoyed walking the streets around us, with the San Juan Del Rio river right across the street.
