The two treadmills in the gym were broken and there weren’t any yoga mats. The food in the Terrace restaurant was fine, not remarkable.

What a pitty we only stayed for one night but it was really lovely and nice. We loved the room as well as the sourounding as well as the hotel workers.

Beautiful setting. We had a second floor room with a balcony and view of the mountains. We had breakfast every morning in the restaurant. Breakfast was reasonable, food was very good and service was excellent. One issue I would point out were the pools. Although there are 3 pools, they are small and crowded and the one pool was murky. There was a family in one of the pools and they dominated. No one else could go in. I would go back but not on a weekend or holiday. There were multiple weddings and many children, lots of noise. In addition, people were smoking on the neighboring balcony although it's a no smoking property. They need more signage in the rooms regarding outside smoking. In addition, the bathroom shower needs a floor mat and some safety bars. It's very slick with nothing to hold on to.

The staff was great. The sauna lacked for a resort. The food was 2 die for. The only real downfall was under my pillow. I did combat with a huge brown recluse. I won. Will return for the experience.

Would visit again. Gorgeous location, amazing staff. Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains on 34 acres of natural desert landscape, the setting is truly breathtaking Tripadvisor — there's nowhere quite like it. The resort has been offering timeless elegance and warm hospitality since 1929 Haciendadelsol, and you can feel that history woven into every corner. The authentic adobe structures, hand-carved wood-beamed ceilings, and botanical gardens surrounding the casitas Tripadvisor make the whole property feel special and unlike any modern hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and the dining was exceptional. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in Tucson.
