Wir waren 2Tage im Hotel. Sehr schöner Garten und Pool. Dinner hervorragend und schöne Bar. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel ausreichend. Sehr nettes Personal.

Decent comfortable property, ideal for a short business stop

Very nice hotel with great facilities. Loved the spa and the restaurant.

Would have loved a slightly bigger bed.

The room was standard and much as I had expected. Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good. The EV chargers were straightforward to use. The flat rate of £15 per charge worked well for me as I needed a full charge; had I required just a quick top up, it might have proved expensive, but on this occasion it was far cheaper and more convenient than using a motorway charger. Fortunately the hotel wasn't busy so I didn't need to wait to use a charger.

I was disappointed to discover only after I'd booked, that there were additional charges to use the spa. This should have been made clear on Booking.com from the outset. It was particularly irksome to have to pay two days worth of spa fees when I was staying for less than 24 hours. I didn't realise that Best Western were aiming to become the Ryan Air of hospitality!

Lack of vegetarian options

The location was very good, with easy access by car to the Worcester area in the north or The Malverns in the south, and with plenty of good off-road parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, with one receptionist finding me a large glass for me to put my daughter's wedding posy in, as she had just got married the day before our stay. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice, and the evening meal that we had was lovely, but we did feel that it was expensive, compared to other similar quality meals in pubs/restaurants.

Unfortunately, although the hotel had lovely cool air-conditioning in the foyer and corridors, the room itself was far too hot, stuffy and airless, with only a tiny window to open and a desk fan to try and move the air, which didn't really work. The temperature on at least 2 of our 5 day stay was 35°C, and 34°C on another, only reducing to 27°/28°C on the other 2 days. This meant that it was almost impossible to sleep, meaning that we were both very tired at the end of our stay. We used to arrive back in the afternoon and leave our door open whilst sitting in the corridor to have a coffee/tea, hoping the cool air from the aircon would filter into our room. When we were in the room we had the fan on full the whole time. In these days of much higher temperatures in the UK, the rooms really should be air-conditioned.
