"Most comfortable BED EVER"

The hotel was amazing! I travel quite often for work and I have to say this was the best hotel I have ever visited. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me.

"Amazing hotel and art"

The hotel is extremely unique. It is full of artifacts and the collections are amazing. Staff does a good job of giving a complimentary tour of the hotel. Location is great and train station within walking distance. Flower and bird markets also within walking distance.

"Great, but a small disappointment...."

I really like our stay. As a matter of fact, I am a big fan of Tugu Hotels group. However, one "small" thing that I was disappointed with: they forgot my birthday! Other hotels would surprise me with breakfast birthday cake, but this hotel did not......

"can't wait to come back !"

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful during a very important visit to Malang and the hotel space was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the hotel tour and the food at Melati was delicious. I definitely plan to come back for a vacation. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay.

"Great historical atmosphere with the best modern service."

I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an alternative to modern metal and glass but with the best service and range of restaurant and cafe meals and bars. Great atmosphere and cheerful and friendly service consistently throughout the hotel including a personal guide to all the artworks and historical artifacts.

"All I want is just a single bed"

This is a wonderful hotel, but they messed up our booking and failed to notice that we (I and a school friend of mine) needed two single beds rather than a double bed. So they just plonked a single mattress on the floor. We took turns in sleeping on the floor over the four nights we had booked. I did not think that that was the standard which this hotel should aspire to! And various hints that we were not happy with this arrangement also were not acted on.
