Byblos Sur Mer

The hotel is in a perfect location to get the most out of Byblos, overlooking the harbour and right between the beach (less than 5mins walk) and Byblos historic market & castle (5-10mins walk) both which have lots to see during the day and great nightlife. The hotel itself is a bit dated and in need of some modernisation (reminded us of something out of Poirot) but the room was very large and clean. We had a balcony overlooking the harbour which gave excellent views whilst feeling reasonably private, it was very noisy with the door open once the "party boats" starting running taking people from the harbour for a quick trip alone the coast and back (they looked quite fun but the noise did get a bit tiresome after the 4th or 5th trip!) Breakfast was buffet style and the service was not great, there seemed to be 1 waiter running around trying to sort everything and a manager stood watching and not helping (a bit faulty towers esq.) The pool is across the road on a large concrete podium overlooking the sea, not private at all and with no shelter from the wind but it was quite large and had sunbeds. The price seems to be mainly justified by the location rather than the quality of the hotel, but the location really is great!

Pros: Awesome location. On the waterfront with a great view. Very nice and clean. Walking distance for the old Souk and other local attractions. Cons: Very average in terms of service. Breakfast menu/buffet is the same and repetitive. Wi-Fi is spotty to unusable throughout the hotel - all the time. Parking is not included.

Wonderful, beautiful hotel! Spacious room with beautiful furniture. Facing the sea, fantastic restaurants, friendly and helpful staff. I will be back !

The one and only choice when you want to stay in the heart of byblos. The view in the port is amazing the room is very clean, the decoration is really nice. And the breakfast if super rich and yummy!

Great place to be at. Very helpful and adorable personnel. Rooms are nicely decorated, cozy and well furnished. The hotel is situated nicely and conveniently at the bay next to the port of crusaders. The old town of Bybos is easily accessible by for within a few minutes.

Rooms are excellent. Very spacious, comfortable and with sea view. Tea/coffee making facilities and safe. Only improvement for me personally would be bathtub but shower was excellent with very good water pressure.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. We had a view of the sea (although there is a large concrete slab that takes up most of the view) and all the amenities were great. The room comes stocked with snacks if you wish to pay for them. Would consider staying again.

Amazing view and overall everything was perfect. The breakfast in morning was good also.
