This was not at all what the photos showed. We thought we rented a room with a balcony and table outside that is not what we got. It was called the sunset room. You could see the sunset along with hundreds of people that walked by our window all day and into the evening. You couldn't open the curtains to see the view because people were continually walking by. Their was no help from the hotel. We don't recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Orrizonte/Horizon apartment, which I chose because of the view and the balcony. It was a really special and amazing place to stay, but wouldn't suit everyone. Everywhere in Riomaggiore requires climbing up and down stairs, but this was a bit extreme - it's situated down the stairs by the marina, and then up five steep flights inside the apartment (with an extra one to get to the bathroom and kitchen). The hike was manageable for us, even though we aren't very fit (just take it slow!), and there were handrails for almost all of it. But it was really worth it for the amazing vista - we spent a lot of time on the balcony looking at the sea and the marina. Unforgettable.

Our room had views of the marina and was in a perfect location. Close to exit of tunnel from train station and not too many stairs to carry bags up (one flight to door and two flights to apartment - considering Cinque Terre this is good!) Would stay here again. Not too

The view from our room was breathtaking. We loved our stay! The bed was a little so-so, but it was comfortable enough. I loved Riomaggiore and especially where we were able to stay.

We booked last minute, and this was the ONLY property available in Cinque Terre. The apartment literally has a window with a view to the sea. You could see people jumping off the cliffs into the sea. It was an amazing view and fantastic location. The room was nothing special, basically just for sleeping. Clean and functional. We were there in August so it would have been nice to have air conditioning as it got hot. There were fans in the two rooms. I think the price was high given summer in Cinque Terre but we didn't have a choice. We are a family of four. Internet was sporadic.

Walked through the quiet back ways of Riomaggiore to our apartment to be greeted by an amazing view of the sea. Climbed down the stairs and rocks close to the apartment and found an excellent place to swim and snorkel. We sat outside the apartment with a takeaway pizza to watch the sunset. Perfect!

We booked with Appartmenti e Cameri Edi and enjoyed our stay in Riomaggiore. Our place was up the hill a little and while climbing the hill and steps was not the highlight at the end of our long days, it made for a peaceful rest because we were away from the crowds. We found when we first booked, it was a little misleading to have photos of all their properties on the same add. We were a little unsure about which pictures were for our specific property.

The sea view suite was very nice. The best part was the view from the balcony.. We watched the sunset every night with a bottle of wine. The bedroom was very spacious and the two separate couches provided a very comfortable place for our two teenagers. We visited in Aug 2017 when the temperature was high 30 degrees. The main sleeping areas were very comfortable with the ice cold air conditioning. But the kitchen and bathroom upstairs were unbearably hot. Some type of A/C would benefit this area for sure. The suite is very close to the water....about as close as you can be. There are about 5 or 6 flights of stairs you need to climb to reach the suite, so be prepared. It was not so bad without luggage, but very difficult with luggage. There is no elevator. If your looking for an "authentic" experience this place is for you. Don't expect any additional amenities, or services. This is simply an apartment, not a hotel room. We'd come back for sure, given the view and ice cold A/C in the bedrooms.

The view out of the room was amazing. Directly facing capo de monte nero, it was breathtaking! The site out of the window was work a million stars. The beds suck and the rooms old, but you won't care because you will be looking outside the whole time. However, apartments are assigned randomly. Ymmv
