Friendly staff. We were given a bigger room than we booked which was appreciated. Generous amount of refreshments and toiletries left in the room. Next to Courtaulds alms houses and silk mill.

Some updating needed in hallways ( carpets).

I booked this off the cuff and so glad I did! I turned up and the bar was really busy! the locals made me feel so welcome! Richard the landlord,what a lovely man! he showed me to my room and it was everything I wanted and more! went down to the bar and had a really great time! if you get chance to stay here you should great rooms great host and I was genuinely felt so welcome and the breakfast was spot on! cheers again for everything! 🛞

We have stayed many times. Comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great. We will continue to stay here. Lovely area for getting out and about. The town is really nice, good restaurants.
