The Dog Inn

The host was very welcoming and friendly . Though the facilities were a little basic we thought it was great value for money. Really good full breakfasts👍😋

Excellent breakfast

The landlord was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Good location, has car park. Generally very good all round.

Could do with a shelf in shower for putting shampoo on. More floor sealant

It was a quaint, little country inn, with everything we could have wanted , the landlord and his wife were both very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay everything we wanted. The inn was only a three or four minute walk from the main town, which had everything you could wish for, landlord recommended a local restaurant, which was also very good value for money. Also we had breakfast made to order every day.

The pub carpark is on a blind bend , when turning right, which could be a little bit scary when leaving the premises.

Lovely little pub with a good atmosphere. The owner Richard made us very welcome and catered to our needs. Our room was nice and warm with very clean and comfy beds, toiletries, towels and tea and coffee making equipment. Breakfast was made with local produce, sausages and bacon from the butcher round the corner with eggs from a farm up the road and it was very well cooked. There was also fresh bread from the bakers and cereals available. Loved our stay and if we are down that area again we would stay at the Dog Inn again.

A great place to stay, staff where very helpful, I became unwell during my stay and had to stay an extra night, this was accomadated without hesitation, thanks very much for all the help given to me during my stay.
