The Dog Inn

We asked for a very early check in at 1230 as we were going to a wedding they were able to accommodate this for us which was great. The breakfast was fantastic and cooked to order.

The room was slightly small but comfortable.

Great little room, nicely appointed.

There’s nothing not to like about the place.

Easy to find. Good secure car parking. Friendly welcoming staff. Room was excellent…it was clean, well presented and well stocked with towels, soaps etc and tea and coffee. The property exceeded my expectations.

Lovely welcome from landlord, able to park easily, good location. Bed comfortable, lovely clean towels and some thoughtful extras.

We stayed in the triple room. Very large dark stain in the middle of the carpet. The bathroom is extremely narrow with the sink by the door. This may not be a problem for some people, but I am of ample proportions and could only pass the sink to get to the toilet with some difficulty. We had a long day so went to bed early ish but both woken up just after 11 by other guests being let into their room.

Arrived to a live band playing band were great and once in the room the noise was minimal room cosy but with everything you need great banter in the bar felt like walking into a local beer was kept well relaxed check in and check out will be staying again

No issues apart from car park was quite full on arrival but busy local event and live band on so no real surprise still managed to park but in last available space
