Beautiful building in a fabulous setting , food was amazing and the staff were super helpful either my booking that I had mixed up, they went above and beyond to arrange a room for me

Authentic old inn, sympathetically updated where required. Excellent food and service.

Great place to stay. Pub and food lovely. Good breakfast included.

Room was above the entrance of the bar and outdoor seating. It was noisy until late at night and from early in the morning.

It has a lot of character. It is in 2 old buildings, one was an old hall and the other was a paper mill. It is in a beautiful part of the country, in the Peak District National Park.

Difficult to find a parking space at weekends. The room was noisy as above the bars. The room was cold, and the radiators and the towel rail could not be turned on. The quality of the food could be improved. The staff were friendly and helpful, though.

Gorgeous rooms, fab location, excellent food and great service.

Nothing really, can be tricky to park at weekends but that’s because it’s so popular.

Rooms were beautiful, well-appointed with modern bathrooms.

Getting there is a bit of a challenge! But it is a beautiful setting once you get there.
