Our room was absolutely gorgeous. So pleased with it. The bed was very comfortable. The whole place and sister pub the Paper Mill was like going back in time. A wonderful peak district experience. Staff were very helpful. Our breakfast at the Old Hall was very good. Because of the day we stayed part of our time was in the Paper Mill. That has pizza to die for. If you come to Chinley be prepared for tiny round about and hilly roads. All part of the experience.

Bit of confusion about where to check in and eat. But all sorted

"Superb, charming hotel with amazing, high quality food."

Our stay was amazing. Both the old hall inn and the paper mill inn were fantastic with totally different vibes. The food was superb, the staff were excellent and the location was perfect. The breakfast included with our stay was top quality also. We enjoyed some great walks which started and ended at the old mill inn and enjoyed our stay immensely.
