Cedar Villa Guest House

Walking into the room the door handle fell off this should of been a heads up to the rest of the stay as then room was just as bad no privacy, insects running around the room, plug sockets bearing attached to the walls, dust on-top of everything and a bed that moves 30cm as shown by the scratch on the wall and the actual movement of the bed.

Terrible experience and didn't like it. Book this place because of the review and now I am wondering if these reviews are legitimate. First problem entering the room the door knob drop off, the floor in sqeeking badly and sinking, very difficult to get a hold of someone, the pipe in the kitchen needs fixing, No parking at all, etc. I could go on and on and owner dosent care at all. I would never book this place again. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

There is no effective sound insulation between rooms. During one night, a guest in the adjacent room caused sustained noise disturbance from around midnight until early morning, and at one point came to knock on our door. There was no on-site staff available overnight to manage the situation. As a result, neither my companion nor I were able to sleep at all before a full-day tour the following morning. This accommodation may be acceptable for guests who are heavy sleepers, but it is not appropriate for anyone who values quiet, personal safety, or basic rest in a shared setting.

Guest house was great no complaint there. Its the customer service. They have £150 security deposit for damages etc. which you have to authorise before you arrive. which is from a different company. after my stay last week 3 payments came out my bank for different amount from the security deposit. No emails or calls to say why. at this stage iv already booked the room for the next week and paid for it. Gives them a call they said yes that right you were caught smoking out the window on the Tuesday which yes i did but was in the room til Friday room was not smelling off smoke they said it would have to be shut for a deep clean and that our booked was cancelled for the next week. we are now 6 days later still no refund from the room and still getting small amount took out bank from security deposit. Iv had no response from the hotel since Tuesday this week

Very comfortable, great location parking was a bit challenging, but the host was helpful. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good.

Frank was extremely kind and helpful as well as a wonderful cook. We felt right at home.
