"Club Windham was very clean and upscale. It has shops restaurants and a big wheel. Dock to catch water taxi to DC"

Nice upscale room. You can take a water taxi to The Wharf at DC, Alexandria, and Alexandria Old Town Via Natural Harbor is a great place to stay.

"Really close to everything, including DCA."

Seriously, you can park your car and walk to everything you need. A CVS is located right next door and there are a lot of shops and restaurants in the area. We were there for 3 nights and wanted to see the Washington DC area. The bus trip booked by Kyrie, our RCI Contact, for day 2 was excellent. The bus picked up and dropped off at the front door. There's a concierge who can also book tours, etc but we did ours at check-in with Kyrie (see the Tip). The overall vibe of this location is very positive and friendly, staff is ultra professional, as you would expect at a Wyndham property. Tip: During check in, they try to sign you up for a sales presentation BEFORE giving you the room keys. We received an AMEX Gift card plus they covered our parking ($25/day) making the 90 minutes of saying "no" worth it.

I have given this average score because, I've had mixed experiences the several times I've stay at this resort. Location-above average, rooms-great, 90 minute meeting this time no pressure-good, bad previous experience, fees for rci members are to expensive, and with wydham 5 day stays for same price to expensive, why not 7.

"Nice location"

Parked car in front of the lobby, entered, checked-in. Then I had to go to hard sell on the other side of the room. I did not want to attend the 90 minutes sales presentation in exchange for free parking. No is no. We were finally given our key and wristbands. The two bedroom unit was nice. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Parking is $25 a day.

The unit was immaculate and the staff was excellent at helping us all throughout our stay. The location was perfect to see and visit all the areas were were looking forward to.
