Warkworth Lodge

The host was friendly and seemed nice.

This place is seriously run down and kind of gross. We could barely sleep the first night. My child opted to sleep on the floor rather than the sofa bed because it was so uncomfortable. There was no working aircon and the ceiling fan did basically nothing. There was constant stomping and banging from the room upstairs. This meant I could not sleep really for more than a few minutes at a time. Cobwebs and dead bugs in the room and more on the window sills, TV did not work despite multiple attempts, wifi was very very slow and things constantly timed out including the tv. No one at reception to help sort issues. Parking was tricky and annoying to get in and out of. Spa pool had lots of bugs in it to the point that they were washing off me in the shower afterwards.

Excellent room and location. The staff are always extremely friendly.

The property itself is lovely, and both the pool and spa very clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

My room was very tiny and claustrophobic, with very dated furnishings and not so much as a bedside table or light. I found it very difficult to relax by the pool because of so much traffic noise.

The host manager was very friendly. She showed and explained me the lodge and the room. I got a room upgrade without asking. very nice victorian style. A absolute complete and modern kitchen is useable for everybody, free tea and coffee included. I got a lot of tips for traveling, had a nice conversation. thx

Love the pool, beautiful large kitchen and lots of outdoor and indoor lounge space

Room was a little dated but expected, we had a desk in the room that took up space but no chair. Probably could be replaced with a dresser. But overall great stay
