Warkworth Lodge

This was our third stay here. The room was quiet and well appointed with a private terrace.

Bathroom was a bit small.

Location

Noisy you could hear everything, people in the bathroom it was terrible. Needs new bed and insulation. No aircon. It was like going back in time. No fridge or room cleaning.

Michelle who manages the Lodge is a treasure ! The lodge itself is just beautiful - gorgeous living room with fireplace and wonderful deep sofas - huge kitchen with all appliances - and outside is the gated pool and hot tub . It’s got a wonderful atmosphere and thus is the seconds stay I have had while visiting NZ.

The atmosphere of peace and old time charm

We loved the friendly warm welcome when we arrived. Michelle is a great host ,we had our fur baby & she made us all feel very comfortable. Our room was clean & all the facilities were well looked after. Pool & spa were good. Quick walk to town was perfect for us We most definitely will be back to stay again

We didn't like that we had to leave

Got in very late but had good instructions for contactless entry. Left before breakfast so can't rate.

Location was great Very clean property

The bedroom was great but unfortunately the mattress wasn’t in the same condition As in you tended to roll into the middle of the bed and way too soft

Laid back host and with all the facilities contemporary amenities was a most enjoyable stay.
