Very well maintained property, nice neighbourhood, posh locality, responsive owner, great ambience

Just that there was no parking, that makes it inconvenient

The apartment was pleasant and spacious.

The air conditioning didn't work, the bed was too hard and one of the balcony doors didn't lock. There was construction work going on nearby which woke me up early with loud noises.

I want to thank all contessa staff and management. The apartment was so luxurious. I loved everything. There is no fault I could give. You have so much to offer as we are a fifo group of friends that wanted to spend our time in Gold Coast to experience what gc has to offer. Contessa apartments was close to everything.

The apartment was very dated and needs some modernisation.This was the first apartment in over 30 years holidaying in the gold Coast that was not air conditioned a big draw back.

Good location. Apartment was large but bathrooms and kitchen a little dated.

The reception staff were extremely rude!! We were not advised of building being painted and unable to use balcony or tennis court until 4pm.

We arrived early to beat the traffic and went to reception where we were greeted by a very unfriendly manager. I mentioned that I knew we were early and he said the room should be ready around 12-12.30pm. We returned at 12pm and checked if the room was ready the woman at the front desk was extremely rude she rolled her eyes and then the manager came out from his office and literally SCREAMED at us to leave and not to come back until 2pm. Finally after checking in I wanted to mention how rude they were but she advised me to choose my words carefully or she will cancel our booking!! Her excuse for being rude was that my husband asked too many questions and was needy. There was literally only us and the cleaner at reception so they had time to answer questions. Every hotel we have stayed at for the last 30 years allows guests to use their facilities until the room is ready. This was absolutely appalling behavior and totally unacceptable and no way to treat paying guests and no way to speak to people in general. Maybe hospitality is not the industry you should be in. We were also never advised from reception nor from booking.com that the building was being painted and we were unable to sit on the balcony or use the tennis court weekdays from 7am-4pm which is disappointing from both parties as we paid to use these facilities. Apart from the location I will not be recommending staying here.
