Contessa Holiday Apartments

Great location

The room we had this time was extremely tired and run down. ( room 83) By far the worst one we have stayed in. We have stayed here for the past 4 years and will not stay again as the apartments are individually owned and this has been by far the worst apartment we have stayed in. Kitchen cupboards loose, very poorly equipped kitchen compared to previous stays, patio furniture was not usable as it was extremely dirty and/or damaged, old manual reclining leather furniture in main living area with the only way to put the foot rests down was to jump off and press manually by hand ! Given the price per night we paid, the managers should have a minimum standard that the owners have to abide by. Much better choices near by unless you happen to score one of the ones at the Contessa that is well maintained. Not worth the risk! All of this on top of the fact that you cannot use the balconies AT ALL on weekdays between 7-4 pm , cannot use the tennis court either on weekdays between 7-4pm AND you have to walk through an underground carpark and use a fire door to access the pool ! This is whilst they are painting … which is no where near complete and according to their information has been since July 2024….

The apartment through airbnb is terrific and well equipped. Key pick up and drop off is 20 minutes drive away. Stayed for the Gold Coast 500. No instructions given about accessing the building during race time and accosted by the rudest building manager I have had the displeasure to meet. Calling us stupid people and yelling at us. Will not stay here again because of this experience.

Great location and it was very comfortable apartment.
