Seoul Rex Hotel

I stayed in hotel rex this month. The reception has average service with low english skill and barely smile. I was shocked when the reception said all air conditioning system broke down -entire building. I said how can I sleep when the weather outside is just 18-20 degree and the window is so tiny for air circulation. She offered me to move to the lower floor if I want. What the logic? Cleanliness is acceptable. Kinda hard mattress not comfy.

It was good price ,and very good location. Condition of hotel is litter old,but for me that's all I want it .it was nice.

average hotel , room is clean with acceptable design, bathroom is clean, the hotel located in small street but not far from the main road, it is really walking distance to Meyong Dong shopping area and Num Dei Mun market. namsan tower is few min. walk. rooms are slightly small and basic. staff in reception are friendly as most Koreans are.

Good location and big room space but room is a bit dark. No free drinking water is provide. The hotel staff is not friendly and not able to speak and understand English well.

The hotel is close to a subway station which is easy to transit to other lines. Only a few staff members speak fluent English and are more helpful. Room cleaniness is acceptable but still has room for improvement. Lack basic necessities like toothbrush and toothpaste, laundry bags.

Staff were always helpful when I needed any travel advice. The food is expensive but there are plenty of restaurants across the road and cafes around the corner. The queen deluxe room I had was clean and warm, easy to access and enough for me to stay. Seat warmer on the toilet and refilled shampoo, soaps and lotions - with exception of hair conditioner.

We stayed here for 5 nights in January 2015. The price was good however our rooms was old and had several issues.

It's close to mtr station n Myeongdong. Convenient stores are just opposite the hotel. Staff are nice. We bring a wrong adaptor n they are willing to help us by renting is a good one. Have temperature control system but no toothpaste n toothbrush. Overall, it's nice n we are very satisfied with the hotel.
