Clocktower Apartment Hotel

The position

It was unclean and very smelly. Not like it was advertised. Dirty walls and floors. Dirty ashtrays. Dirty toilets. Very unhappy and it should not be advertised as it is and not through booking.com

This is a fantastic location and it is disappointing the state of disrepair it is in.

Hygeine, facilities not working.

Apartment was cosy felt like i was at home nice and quiet

Great location Lovely chap on reception.

Room was very spacious but not clean. Bathroom might have been okay in the 70s. Finding our room was a challenge.

Location

The car parking process is very complicated. There shouldn’t need to be a requirement to watch a 2 minute video on how and where to park. There could be signs through the carpark to follow for clocktower visitors instead of needing to watch a video. The link we received via text did not work and I didn’t go onto the internet to search. That just seems over the top to park. Signs would suffice. Also only having 1 key per room makes it hard to manage when we go out separately. Two sets of keys should be given as there are no swipe cards. We will most likely not be staying here again due to those couple of reasons.

Nothing other than the location.

Disgusting, dirty bathroom, stained carpets, threadbare bed coverings, glory holes in the bathroom walls. This property should not be available on Booking, it is not an acceptable standard of accommodation & the hotel images do not reflect reality. I moved to another hotel immediately in Carlton for safety & comfort.

We hired 3 rooms. Great location, but: Two rooms were good in terms of facilities and cleanliness, however the third room that we had for two nights, had a great deal of mold in the shower. The vinyl couch had tears that covered 20% of the seat. One bed was nice the other queen size bed was terribly hard. We were quoted $ 18 for carparking, on exit we were charged $ 30 for each car. There was no one to speak to as there is no staff on the weekend. Will not go back here.
