Clocktower Apartment Hotel

Brilliant location, being able to walk out and straight onto Lygon street amongst the restaurants was a bonus and only a 30-minute stroll to the MCG. Very roomy with all the facilities you want in a room.

I was very happy with it all so no negatives, it is a little dated, but I expected that.

The hotel quality is very poor, especially the staff service. There was no staff available during check-in and check-out, and the rooms were extremely hard to find with no directions at all. Notably, although the hotel claimed to offer parking, no parking spaces were prepared for us, resulting in a $120 parking fee. I highly do not recommend this hotel; it's really bad.

No exhaust in bathroom. Pretty old/dated furnishings.

The welcome by Emyitt was very friendly and helpful. The location for a night of dining and cocktails on Lygon Street is perfect. For the price, an incredible amount of space.

Unfortunately, CAH is trialling a new cleaning contractor and they didn't really clean the bathroom/ wc as we found splash stains on the toilet, talcum powder (we assume) and hair in the bathtub as well as talcum powder on the walls and vanity. Overall, the unit was rather tired and the lack of cleaning detracted from the experience.

The sheets on the bed were clean.

Cleanliness. It just wasn’t.
