Hotel backing onto lygon st restaurants was fantastic, had private balconies and bathtub.

Parking company (NOT Clocktower Hotel) accused us of not parking in hotel private section, which we did, after our parking ticket scanned as invalid - possibly as we entered it straight after another vehicle left. They still honour our parking eventually.

This was a very large apartment. A bit old and dated, but it had all the things we needed in a great location in Carlton.

Location was excellent and apartment was a good layout and large footprint. The facilities were basic with a few easy fixes eg four people but only three bowls.

There was no basic servicing eg rubbish removal and no additional waste bags. There were no tea towels and the plugs by the bed did not work. The no smoking rule was in place but there were ash trays around the room and one full of buts on the veranda. The shower grout had not been attended to for a long time. The lock on the outside gate was broken and the gate swung open the whole time. The washing machine was broken but they offered an alternative and provide free parking in return.
