Clocktower Apartment Hotel

Had an amazing stay at Clocktower Apartments on 16th of December. Location was central to Lygon Street and fabulous restaurants, parking was cheap, and the rooms were spacious and comfy. Loved the full size bathroom, and the rooms come with kitchen/laundry facilities. Will definitely stay again. 10/10

Very dated. TV needs updating, air con needs to be updated to accomodate a multi room apartment. Apart from that, everything was awesome!

Location, was generally good overall.

Fridge was broken which was an issue. The sliding door glass was dirty. Workmen were hammering and drilling before 7am at one of the apartments, a Sunday as well. Not good.

Location was perfect as was security late at night. The beds were comfortable.

The carpet is in desperate need of replacement and the bathroom was reasonably clean but old and in need of a update. The mold in the shower requires urgent attention, best solution would be be shower screen replacement as part of whole bathroom update.

No staff to check in, had to go next door and she had no clue what was happening, a friend from our group was able to check in without any ID.

Room smelt so strong of bleach we could not remain in room, advised by staff member to just "open all the windows and air the room out". We were advised that the two room apartment would have a king bed and a queen bed, instead we were provided with two small single bed {child size} replacing the queen, that looked as if they were literally thrown in room. The linen provided was just a cotton sheet and a very thin nylon throw style blanket with no doona or quilt, making sleeping on a cold night absolutely freezing, had to sleep fully clothed and was extremely uncomfortable. Surfaces were dusty room felt tired. Would not recommend.

Fantastic location, close to city & restaurants. Clean apartment, older fixtures, but clean and comfortable.
