Vallarta Shores Beach Hotel

I couldn’t rave more about our stay at Villa Azul with Chef Irwin and Carlos! The house was amazing!!! As beautiful as the pictures are, they don’t even do it justice! The beds were extremely comfortable, the housekeeping was wonderful, with fresh towel daily, made beds and clean floors! The house had loads of space as we were travelling with family and friends. You could enjoy moments alone on different pools on different levels, as well as enjoying the beautiful common space together taking in the views! The food was hands down AMAZING, and Chef Irwin always kept us in the loop about the next fresh delicious dish that was on the menu. Carlos was over the top friendly and his service was impeccable, whether it be breakfast/dinner service or making sure everyone had a drink in hand. It was so quiet and serene, the views are breathtaking. On top of all of this, anything you needed or wanted Chef Irwin and Carlos were happy to help, whether it be rides, massages, or special arrangements. We will be back for sure and would recommend it to anyone going to Puerto Vallarta! Thanks again to everyone for the trip to remember!

The experience was incredible! Having a chef was amazing and the food was spectacular. We had Jesus and Martin and they both were very impressive. Friendly, accommodating, very delicious food. We will absolutely return here when we are in PV!

Amazing property, on the ocean my one bedroom suite on the first floor with private pool was much more than I expected. Very spacious and well appointed. Decor was very old school Vallarta charm. Full kitchen, dining room, living room and large bath with great water pressure. And the view of the ocean spectacular. Staff was very friendly and had no issues with friends that came over to hang out at my pool. Room 4 highly recommended.

Location, room and views were great. Special thanks to our chef, Martin!! Greeting with a warm smile and delicious food every day. Fresh fruit, eggs and mimosas in the mornings. Enchiladas verdes, carne asada, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo and margaritas in the evenings. Thank you for taking such good care of us! We’re going to miss this place. Adios for now, but we will be back.

Great location and safe if you are looking to be in Zona Romantica. Restaurants are walkable. Beach is just steps away. You wake up to the sound of waves, so quiet and peaceful.

I checked in on the day they were told they would have no power and the front desk chose not to inform me. I had to book another hotel since the power was not on by 3pm as they said it would be. I'm still waiting on my refund.

Great location, amazing ocean view from both, living room and the bedroom, friendly and attentive staff, walking distance to everything in town.

Cobbled streets are presenting potential hazard for people over 60, but it is all over the Puerto Vallarta, so just had to watch our steps…

Villa Azul is absolutely stunning. The property is well cared for, with incredible views. Our chefs Irvin and Alberto were so welcoming, engaging and the food was top notch every day. They thought of every detail, and we were very well taken care of. I really hope to see them again in the future! We’re already talking about coming back.
