Facilities was really good

The staff of the buffet wasn’t that nice. Buffet on the evening was overpriced compare to the food quality.

Beach bar and the view, the atmosphere of the entire village is breathtaking… like you would end up in a greek local authentic village where modernity and culture meet.

We didn’t like that quite a lot birds’ excrement were on the balcony as there is no protection and roof against.

Όλα ήταν τέλεια!

We spent 8 wonderful days at Candia Park Village with our two-year-old daughter, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. First of all, the staff were outstanding. The reception team, the restaurant staff at breakfast and dinner, the housekeeping team—everyone was welcoming, friendly, and helpful at every stage of the day and with every request (Zelka, Mariana, Manos, Niki, Dimitris, Ledion, Adamandia, and the rest!) This resort is incredibly family-friendly, and we didn't fully understand just how much until we arrived. We intentionally chose a resort without a water park, and it turned out to be absolutely the right decision for our family. The pool, the sea, the beautiful natural surroundings, and the short evening shows provided more than enough entertainment for both children and adults. There are performances every evening, but they are never overcrowded or noisy. The entertainment is high-quality and suitable for the whole family, such as bubble shows and live Greek music performances. Both children and parents dance, participate, and enjoy themselves. Everything is well-maintained, accessible, clean, beautiful, and organized. Children can run around freely, and no matter how many guests are staying at the resort, you still feel like you're enjoying quality time with your own family in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We've never stayed in such a clean hotel. Even when we experienced a small inconvenience in our room, the hotel staff responded immediately and solved the issue for us. There will always be occasional problems anywhere, but what matters is whether there is someone to turn to and whether the issue is resolved. The way the staff handled everything gave us a great sense of comfort, security, and enjoyment throughout our stay. The sea, the pool, and the views are simply breathtaking.

The only thing we weren't prepared for was the relatively high prices at the bar, restaurants, and convenience store. If you don't take that into account when planning your vacation budget, it can be a bit disappointing. We also highly recommend booking half board, including dinner. It is very convenient, delicious, and definitely worth the cost. That said, despite the prices, the convenience store at the resort is genuinely useful and has everything you might need.

Beach side

This hotel cannot be considered truly luxurious based solely on its appearance. While the design may look impressive, both the room layout and the overall organization of the hotel feel poorly planned and inconvenient. At night, the noise from passing cars makes it difficult to sleep. The entertainment program for both children and adults is very limited. Evenings are especially boring, and there is very little to do during the day as well. We found ourselves having to plan trips to nearby towns and villages just to make our stay more enjoyable. Before coming here, we stayed at another hotel on the same island, and there we never felt the need to leave the property because there was always something to do. The most disappointing part of our experience was the behavior of the woman preparing omelets at breakfast. She repeatedly asked whether I wanted an omelet, although that was essentially the only dish she was preparing. She seemed irritated while I was choosing the ingredients and rolled her eyes in front of me. This happened for three consecutive days. Eventually, I spoke with a manager about it. The response I received was surprising: “She is probably just jealous because you are beautiful. It’s better if you avoid that corner.” The fact that this was the management’s solution to the issue was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I would not choose to return to this hotel. There were also organizational problems from the very beginning of our stay. On the first day, we completed a registration form and were told that we would receive a code used to charge expenses to our room. However, the code only arrived two days later. During those two days, the restaurant staff seemed frustrated every time they realized we did not have the code yet. It was an uncomfortable situation that could have been easily avoided with better organization and communication.
