Tekapo Heights

Good location close to the Stargazing location, short walk to lakefront.

Very expensive for what it was; no sign of any staff - everything is electronic entry so looks like a property owned but not managed. The room was smaller than expected, and not in good condition - marks on walls, chips out of walls, black dirt and stains in corners of windows and shower frame, curtain with broken rings - generally a room that needed a good clean and some more tlc. Nothing that couldn’t be made better with a bit of attention and effort.

The area was very pretty, and the room was nice and cosy. The bathroom is spacious and well-equipped, and we even had a walk-in closet to store our luggage, jackets and so on in.

Nothing, really. The walk to the hotel is partially uphill. Not a problem, just worth mentioning for other people who plan their visit.

Location was superb. Beautifully presented. Was unsure about separate private bathroom, but this did not present a problem.

Room was small. A little over priced

Stunning location, beautiful view, very comfy and lovely room. Great facilities - appreciated the modern shower and TV.
