Convenient and quiet location

Everything was adequate but no more than that. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well.

No staff, so no welcome. Fridge had no shelf. Furniture was chipped, room was small, decor was unimaginative and bland. By NZ standards the room was expensive for what it was.

We had a wonderful stay at Tekapo Heights. The house itself is warm, beautiful, and located in a quiet, safe, and lovely neighborhood. The backyard offers a great view overlooking Lake Tekapo. It’s also very conveniently located, just a short 10-minute walk to the commercial center by the lake. The check-in process was seamless and easy. Our room was cozy and beautifully decorated, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing experience.

Shower was loose, not enough light in bathroom. Also the main entrance door was kept open. No locks

The bed and room were very comfortable and it was clean. The location is positioned close to town.

It felt like you were living in a house with other people staying in other bedrooms and you could hear the other guests going in and out of doors, so it didn't feel very private. Our room had an ensuite, which was reflected in the cost. The other guests seemed to be using a shared bathroom and we could hear guests going in and out as the door to the shared bathroom was close to our room door. I am not sure why guests cannot open and close doors at a reasonable level when they know others are staying on the premises. Lastly, our ensuite was lovely besides the shower, which was one of those cheap stand alone cubicles with the plastic floor in them which felt awful to stand on.
