Mansfield House Hotel

Amazing food and breakfast .

Rooms quaint but need a refresh .

A lovely, lovely old house. Plenty of space, hot water, bath, glorious breakfast. Great bed, good central heating.

Perhaps for some a bit of a walk into the town, 15 mins? The winding entrance road was also the pedestrian path(I think) so be aware of cars. Uphill on your return, not too well lit. Bar prices!!!

All staff excellent as was the service and food

The food in Mansfield Park was extremely good. We had breakfast and dinner. Excellent friendly staff who would go out of their way to accomodate your needs. Although we stayed in November, we could still apreciate the hotel gardens that must be stunning from spring through to autumn.

Being an old traditional house, this hotel does not have an elevator. The staff will help you with luggage.

I’ve stayed at The Mansfield a good few times. Outstanding. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I’m visiting the area. Superb rooms, outstanding breakfast, and the staff always go above and beyond. Fabulous hotel!

An absolute delight, totally worth the 5 star rating, a friendly and very welcoming arrival, luxurious well equipped rooms with great facilities, fabulous food in very ample portions, the dinning room is a delight and adds to the food experience, a spacious and very comfortable bar, with an incredible range of beverages on offer, Every where is so clean, towels etc changed to your hearts desire. Matthew is so very helpful in every way, and full of recommendations and directions, definitely one of the very well deserved 5 stars.
