Lovely rooms and ample car park. Nice location stayed many times in the area before but our usual hotel was being refurbished

When we checked in we were asked if we'd like breakfast for the following day, to which we replied yes and book a slot for 9.30am. There was no nice smells and the whole restaurant was locked up lights off. We had no where to leave the key to check out. The previous evening we came back for a drink only to be told they were along at 10pm. There were a few in the bar and we all had to locate.

A very tastefully decorated room (7).. very good quality furniture & really comfortable bed.. good quality cups etc & even a teapot! Perfect! Very friendly bar young lady who gave us milk for the fridge in our room . Good selection of food available & the pub was very tastefully decorated too.. food was delicious 👍

Weeds around the carpark which isn’t good for a 1st impression.. the pub windows sills at the front seating area need a good clean. Our room (7) was great value but all the skirtings need dusting & repainting especially in the bathroom .. also need some sort of screening as our window overlooked a parcel drop off point!

Some attention to detail needed. Toilet seat was broken and staff had already been made aware of this prior to my visit. Stayed in twin bed room and ved slid around. Food not up to expectations with luke warm chips and cold peas.

No food available for someone arriving at 9pm It says on Booking. Com breakfast available but no one was available and breakfast wasn’t being served. No food available near by very disappointing for working people who finish late

Felt the room needed a deep clean at floor level and bath mat in bath could be cleaner, think problem was wet mat left in bottom of bath rather than being dried. Food was just ok fish was a bit heavy on oil did say at the meal. Next day the lasagna was bland and over cooked.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. The food was good and so was the beer. The small team was working hard to get to grips with some maintenance issues

The room could have done with a "deep" clean.

Zag er in eerste instantie netjes uit maar in badkamer ging het mis. Stang met vies douchegordijn eraan in bad, zat met viltjes tussen twee muren geklemd en viel tijdens het douchen, naar beneden. Stang was gewoon tekort dus ook niet meer op te hangen. Wc bril lag ook los. Na het ontbijt onze spullen gepakt op de kamer, die buiten het pand lag, maar konden daarna het restaurant niet meer in om uit te checken. Deur zat op slot. Drijfnat laten regenen, van voor naar achteren gelopen om het pand weer in te komen en om iemand te vinden, totdat ik een klusjesman tegenkwam die de kamersleutel van mij wel wilde aannemen. Niet fatsoenlijk uit kunnen checken dus.
