Really nice and comfortable room.

Bit noisy but then it is a very popular local especially at weekends.

The location was excellent.

Had the wrong booking date. Thought we were due on the 18th July not the 13th. The next day no one was at breakfast probably because of the above. We had to go searching for someone. He was a chef and had to then run front of house and unsurprisingly got the order wrong although he was trying his best he should not have been in that position. We also found some dried pasta in the breakfast not good. The room had a cracked window, the guest information was empty so no idea when breakfast was meant to be the next day, the kettle was broken and the shower was dirty. In general the staff seemed very new and not clued up in terms of what they were doing. A bottle of wine order left me waiting 15 minutes trying to ascertain the right bottle of wine. It just seemed one thing after another. It really was not good enough and really I would like compensating for the whole experience.

The Snooty fox is perfectly situated and a beautiful place to stay. The staff are exceptional

I believe there is new management and things weren’t running very smoothly. I felt sorry for the staff as it was not easy for them but they coped very well. I hope the new management get their act together

Location is great, centre of village.

Staff was helpful with the luggage. Cute old inn. Nice breakfast with good fruit salad and excellent coffee (best cappuccino I had on the trip). Very comfortable beds. Proper windows so you can let the room cool off at night, a nice change after our previous place. Interesting retrofitted bathroom. Great bakery across the street and good location in the middle of town.

Unfortunately, could hear the music and tvs from the bar until closing. I was able to drown it out with headphones and ear plugs, but worth noting. My travelling partner is feeble and did not take a shower because there was no handbar or anywhere to grip on to get into the bath/shower.

Location really good. Room lovely. Dogs well catered for and appreciated the dog bed and treat pack / welcome pack.

Appreciate room above a sports bar ...and building is Old. But little attempt at soundproofing. Room door has gaps all around so no soundproofing even onto.landing.
