Unusual and beautifully presented accommodation in a renovated old building. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was superb and and very well presented. Characterful pub right next door. Highly recommended.

Historic house, lovely setting. Fabulous breakfast. Close to walks, pubs and property has a great outdoor space and a separate sitting room for guests. Provides wine beer at an additional cost . Large bookcase if you fancy a read. Bathroom had modern shower good towels and toiletries. Room had a sofa, desk/ dressing table kettle , coffee and tea, biscuits and an extra surprise. Very clean, bathrobes and hairdryer provided. Comfortable and a very large bed. Parking.

"A Gem"

This a gem. Great little village. Super pub next door. Dunham Massey with its deer park a couple of hundred yards away. Easy parking. Once inside the hosts have taken care of every detail, up to a complimentary glass of sherry for those who partake. The bedroom was nicely decorated. The bed was super super king and very comfortable. We did not have breakfast but I bet it's a treat. Could not recommend this highly enough.

Very friendly hosts made us feel welcome for our one night stay en-route to Manchester. Good location in quiet village, with easy access from M56. Tidy room, with comfortable bed, en suite shower room and plenty of coat hangers in wardrobe. Also, ample tea, coffee and biscuits, and a nice touch was a sherry decanter and glasses, plus a mint chocolate. Ample off road parking. Good pub next door for lunch and/or evening meal.
