Cairn Hotel

during our stay...the room was second story and kitchen below, all cooking smell and so on is all over the place...nice staff and area though

Very comfortable hotel in a small village. The pub was great (with good vegetarian Haggis!) and the customer service of both hotel and pub was excellent. The room was very comfortable with soft beds and a nice bathroom.

Wonderfully simple Scottish hotel. The only issue we had was a bit of noise from the bar below our room, but they turned down the music when we asked them to do so.

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Well situated.

Excellent value. Lovely staff, I arrived a bit early but the lady in charge let me leave my heavy backpack in my room as the room was ready. Despite it being a pub, the noise from the jukebox was barely audible in my room and completely stopped at 10pm so I got a good night’s sleep.

Great food and lovely staff. A proper bar which was going like a fair. The downside is that the property needs maintenance. It looks like any recent repairs or upgrades have been done DIY or by a poor contractor.

From the moment we arrived they all looked after us and made us feel very welcome, friendly professional service. We booked 1 room for 3 adults and when we arrived they gave us a single room for free!

Good value for money, but surprisingly no shaver socket in en suite.

A comfortable family run hotel. Decor a bit tired but the staff, cleanlines & quality of food more than made up for this.

Just what I needed to get a night's rest before a long road trip so I mainly slept while there. It was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was just excellent. The owners are friendly and helpful.
