Cairn Hotel

I got a very friendly wrlcome here and, apart from my room being a very small single, everything else was fantastic. The food here is amazing! Best gish and chips I've ever had and the Cranachan tart was tasty and innovative. I was staying for work and because my room was so small I wasn't able to get any work done. I'd book a double room next time. I definitely recommend this hotel though and hope i get a chance to stay there again.

Very relaxed and homely atmosphere. I had a single room with a shared toilet. The toilet/shower room was spotless! An absolutely bargain for solo traveller on a budget!

Service was great and the owner was really lovely. The full Scottish breakfast was delicious.

Beware: Advertised as having ‘private bathroom’ however, this is actually outside of the room on a public landing. I would encourage the owner to describe this better so it is clear to visitors that this is a ‘shared’ bathroom.
