Cairn Hotel

The hotel was a little tired but the the room was clean, the staff very friendly and the food was excellent, indeed above average for this category of hotel. A good stay!

Beautiful location, great staff, pleasant room, good food and a well-stocked bar. Dog friendly! Plenty of easy and enjoyable walks from the village. I've heard that Capercaillies can (sometimes) be seen walking down the main street early on a May morning. Mountains nearby, Inverness too. We stayed here as a sensible stop on the journey south from the Ullapool ferry.

The room (in the Craigellachie side of the hotel) was basic but clean and comfortable. The lounge was comfortable and a nice spot to sit and read. Service was friendly and helpful. I had a meal in the bar and the food was exceptional. I can't comment on breakfast as I had to leave for work before 6am, but if it is as good as the evening meal I'm sure it would be great! Carrbridge is a beautiful village with lots of nice walks within easy reach. I would stay here again if travelling this way.

Good value for money hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent food.

I stayed in the recently added guest house next door to the Inn. Spotless and comfortable. My only down was that there wasn’t a tv in the room. There’s a tv lounge downstairs though. Again, the Staff were great and the food served was fabulous! Looking forward to my next stay.

We had a family room at the front of the hotel we only booked a double but were given the larger room on upgrade even before we arrived There was no extra charge The bar /pub was very friendly locals and hotel guests mingle its great good ale

First-class service and food unexpectedly good for a modest hotel. Outstanding value for money. Room plain and simple but with good tea-making facilities and comfortable bed.

The owner was really accomodating made me an early breakfast.Enjoyed the stay would definitely go back.
