Aroma Suites

The extraordinary way this and other hotels are poured over the crater edge makes the logistics of getting around somewhat unusual and the facilities limited, but the view is mind-blowing and the staff extremely helpful.

Great place to stay. Perfect location. Great places to eat within a few minutes walk.

It was in a very good location and had a really great view from the balcony. But the room was small and the window was also a small. The bus station is very near but it was uphill therefore to push the luggage from the bus station was also a bit tiring.

Santorini for views and Aroma suites has it. We stayed next at Oia and the hotel balcony looked back towards Fira and double the price. We looked longingly back to where we had come from and should have just went to Oia for the day.

This Hotel was full of good surprises. Following the design of the constructions of this part of the island, Aromas was very pleasant. We were picked up at the airport and this was arranged by the Hotel with no problems. We arrived early before the check in hour and we were very surprised by the reception. It was warm, informative, diligent. Our family room was "Vanilla". Huge, clean, unusual, comfortable. It has an interior jacuzzi and its own terrace overlooking the sea. We enjoy our stay and really like everything.

The view of the room was amazing! Great sunset. Jean Pierre the manager was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay! Definitely recommend it to others.

Best hotel stay I have ever experienced. Physical room fantastic (gigantic), service was unparalleled. When we arrived the receptionist was incredibly helpful, taking the time to orient us on a map of the whole island, and suggest the best attractions to visit and things to do. She was just the right amount of helpful - not overbearing and a constant presence, but always available when needed. We also ran into a unique situation where the ferries and planes struck, so we were stuck on the island - she helped us rearranged our flight and hotel information by calling those businesses and translating for us. She also accommodated us until our rescheduled flight. The room was incredible. We called it "the grotto" because of the in-room jacuzzi, which we had heated up for a small extra charge, and it was totally worth it. Beds were some of the most comfortable that I have experienced in Europe, even the pull out couch bed (sleeps 2 comfortably). Shower gigantic. Stocked refrigerator & beer/wine bottle opener. Each room has a private balcony with one of the most premiere, unobstructed views of Nea Kameni and the Santorini bay. This hotel is so central to anything you would need in Fira. The main street of restaurants was just a 5 minute walk away, and all the shopping was 5 to 10 minutes away as well. No bad experiences at all.

We loved our stay at Aroma Suites. The childrens beds were not so comfortable as roll out bed and sofa beds. these would be suitable for small children but not for tall teenagers.

although very convenient to the center of thira, this charming place is quiet and feels off the beaten path. so much so that it's a bit diffcult to find for the first time: i wish i'd take them up on their offer to pick me up at the port.
