Inn at Hermannhof

Nice place

We stayed here in the main Inn in a suite on the top floor, which had a small view of the river, for a romantic get away. The room was nicely appointed and nicely decorated. The bed was really broken in with body impressions, felt even through the thick bed topper. The seven shower head shower was outstanding. I think depending on the room you get, it depends on if all your jets work in the tub or shower, based on other reviews I read. The jets in the tub did not work very well. The inn is located just steps from the train statiand within walking distance to a few wineries and places to eat. Your stay includes a breakfast. But, it was the tiniest breakfast I have ever seen in my life and would not have fed a three year old. The female servers were rushed and overworked and we're not very friendly. You literally got one egg, one slice bacon, 3 bites of French toast, and a 3 bites yogurt, "parfait." We had to go get donuts after each breakfast because we were hungry. For the price I paid for the room, It was insulting. I wanted to rate this review a 3 star, but I gave it a four because of the shower and the location. My husband did hear the trains at night though.

It is in a historic part of town. The drive to the property was up a narrow, huge hill. Breakfast was good, coffee wasn’t great.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The room was beautiful. We relaxed and enjoyed our stay spending time together next to the fireplace. Everyone was so nice. We will definitely come back.

Gorgeous property! Beds were super comfy, huge shower and bathroom. Tv was hit and miss on staticy stations with buzzing and a few outlets didn't work on just the top plugs but that was no big deal and the only problems we ran across.

Very nice and neat room. A . Easy check in and out.
