The property charges a prepayment. Directions: Please note that if you are arriving by car, do not use satellite navigation once you reach Rowsley as it will direct you too far along Chatsworth Road (also the B6012). The Old Station House is the second house on the left immediately after turning onto Chatsworth Road from the A6. It has a white conservatory on the front and a B&B sign above the front door. The entrance to the car park is 131 feet further along Chatsworth Road, bordered by a lamppost and a bus stop. If you are coming from Chatsworth along the B6012, follow the road through Rowsley until you pass Hinckley Court on your right and then our car park entrance is immediately after the bus stop on your right. The house is 131 feet further along the road towards the A6 junction. Standard check-in time is between 16:30 and 18:00. Outside these hours the staff may not be available so, if you would like to check-in at an alternative time, please contact the property in advance and they will do their best to accommodate your request. A deposit may be required at the property.

We stayed at the Old Station House in Rowsley and found it very convenient, as the town and several food places are within walking distance or a short drive. Our room at the back was quiet, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Rooms at the front, facing the main road, might be a bit noisier. The host was very helpful and provided us with plenty of information on places to visit in the surrounding area, which made exploring much easier. Breakfast was fine, but not quite as exceptional as we expected after reading the many glowing reviews, it felt more average. Overall, a comfortable stay in a good location.

Breakfast was excellent! the table was beautifully laid out with all place settings ready to match each guests needs, e.g. dietary requirements and general preferences for their breakfast meal. Impeccably clean environment to enjoy the whole breakfast experience. Our host was there to cater for all our requests and needs, very impressive. Rooms and amenities were of a very high order and cleanliness was obviously of paramount importance from the host. This place comes highly recommended from my wife and myself, it served all our needs and comfort throughout our stay here.

We didn't have any dislikes during our stay, all levels of amenities and standards remained very high with a caring and helpful host, thank you so much!
