Hilton Garden Inn Springfield, MO

Stay was bet pleasant. My only complaint is the pool temp was cold for us Florida babies.

Beautiful clean room! Loved it!! Quiet and comfortable - perfect for a weekend celebration for my wife’s birthday. Would book at this hotel again and recommend others to do the same. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful and the facilities were great!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining options were above and beyond what we had expected. Absolutely fantastic.

The stay was good.

Charged $40 per night for incidentials to my card at check in. $104 on my card, one breakfast and one snack. Still have not received the balance unused. 1/24 was the charge date and it is 2/13. They told me refund in 3 to 5 days. It appears this is a Hilton policy. Corporate hinted it was the hotel’s decision to use the policy. I’ve been Diamond and currently Silver Hilton Honors. I have always looked at Hilton first but not now. Stupid policy, stupid decision to charge funds on a card and not update the charge at checkout. Oh, at 2 am on a cold night, fire alarm. Fire trucks (2), chief, police. No one from hotel came outside to update guests standing in cold.

I searched on Hotels.com for the room with "breakfast included" in the filter. We were surprised that we were given a bill of 20.01 for a continental breakfast with not many choices. We would not have eaten there if we knew it was not included.

I did not get my Hilton points because I went through Expedia, plus My cost for my room was not included in free breakfast! I had to pay 15.50 for scrambled eggs, poor potatoes, hard bacon! Not very good!
