AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky Copenhagen

Four nights at Bella Sky Hotel and everywhere I was waiting for staff. At the reception, in the restaurants, in the lobby-bar and even in the 23rd floor bar. Please hire more people!!! Nice, clean rooms (although I had to move to another room because my electric curtains were out of order) Nice but busy breakfast. The gym is a few dumbells and 4-5 cardio machines. Book room in tower 1. It is annoying to have to go all the way to tower 2 :-(

It was a nightmare from Checkin to checkout. Reception staff is so incourtious and disrespectful. You arrive after over 15hrs of flying and reception staff at AC Bella is waiting to your rude welcome.They are least least bothered.

Selected this hotel due to architectural design. Attractive exterior - that's about all. Very disappointed with poor maintenance of guest room. Broken blinds, broken telephone socket, floorboard stain, coffee stains on glass at coffee making facilities, lifted skirting divider between bathroom and room. When I raised the defects with the Concierge, he told me that there are different standards of Marriott!

We had a family week in CPH and we stayed in this hotel. This was really good and comfortable. Great location and makes food value for money. The city is only 10min by train. You can walk around.

There's absolutely no issues with this property - it's clean, friendly, well-equipped for a good rest. Breakfast is just magnificent. The only thing I found to watch for is how large and busy it gets at times. Add extra time for busy elevators and potential switching between towers. I would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel and pricing

Great architecture, clean facilities, attentive staff and great location between the airport and downtown Copenhagen. Conveniently located near a metro station.

Check in experience was horrible. The room keys received at the reception did not work. When Reported about wrong keys, the staff at Reception (Mr Pablo) was arrogant. Hotel management should take it seriously and train their staff at Reception.

We arrived around 0645am with 4 room reservations that were previously already charged for. The clerk Katerina advised we were charged the previous night for a no-show and our rooms weren’t available. I requested to speak a manager and she stated she was the manager. I inquired when we would be able to check in and was told we have to wait and see when housekeeping comes in. I asked if there was breakfast or a lounge for Platinum Elite members and was told no. She was rude and unhelpful. I requested she check and let us know when housekeeping would be coming because she was speaking in circles and I was still unsure when we would be able to get our rooms. She stated she’ll call them at 7,7:30,or 8 to ask if they were coming in at 9am to clean room. It was 6:59 so I inquiring if she was would calling now and she stated she will send a message. I then had to ask would she let us know when she heard back, she said we could leave an email address. I let her know we’d be sitting in the lobby waiting. I requested her business card, she said she didn’t have one but could give the guest relation manager. She previously stated she was the manager but then stated she was the duty manager right now. Around 0745, our company requested we speak with a clerk on conference. Marta confirmed they had detailed notes on when we would be arriving and confirmed they still had available rooms. The clerk confirmed all the notes were in their system but thought the notes were small and they would have us in rooms in 20mins. At 0810, I inquired on the rooms as the time had lapsed. Marta tried to take another customer with a room key issue because she said she was here before me. I reminded her we have been here since 0645 and was told she will check with the supervisor (Katerina) because the rooms were available but being cleaned housekeeping. At 0815, I was told housekeeping is not finished with the rooms and does not know when they will be finished. She then laughed when I said ok. At 0828, Marta advised one room was available and still had no idea how long it would take for the others. My co-workers had a tour booked and terribly inconvenienced with no apologies, accommodations or even a breakfast allowance. At 0919, the second room was available. When I stepped into the room, the room floor was wet, stains on the toilet seat, hair in the bowl and blood spatters on the sink (photos attached). Upon checking out the next day, I asked about the welcome gift. The clerk, Ruglie, stated I chose the welcome points. I let her know I wasn’t given a chose. She apologized (first during the trip) which was appreciated and said they were supposed to ask each guest. I wish I had knew the day prior I could have received a $10 voucher to use towards breakfast.

Check in and check out was smooth. Nice location, room nice and clean. It was very comfortable for one night stay before cruise.
