AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky Copenhagen

If you attend a business convention or show at Bella Center, the location has advantages. Prices are very expensive usually. Rooms are small, organized in american chain style. Bathroom was tiny, patiecualsty the sink, and had not space at all to place personal items. Romm had barely any space for clothes. Obviously designed by financial optimizing experts, intending to queeze maximum profits per surface out of the buildings. No regard for European taste and customer wishes at all. Breakfast and lobby are decent though, the higher up room have nice views. But overall poor price/performance ratio.

Stayed here for five nights during a recent congress. Room was great, spacious and clean. Housekeeping team are fantastic. Reception team were always helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic for the airport and congress centre. Just a short taxi ride into town. Food was great quality although breakfast was like a cattle market during the Congress and you struggle to find a clean table.

The hallways to rooms look old Lobby is nice but there was construction going on all around the hotel

Hotel location is excellent, about 20 minutes from the airport. It composed of two tall towers which has 3 restaurants and a bar.-The hotel is close to a metro station which is convenient to go to the center as well the shopping center. We had room in tower 1 floor 10. which was non smoking and no pet room. Room was clean and had a good supply of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. It also had a hair dryer. A very nice spread for breakfast which was pretty much the same every day. It appeared that the window of the room was cracked and common area carpet was old. Overall tower 1 appeared to be an older structure with little maintenance.

Very clean and modern hotel close to the airport

I had to go up to the room and back down twice to switch rooms because power was broken. First time power wouldn't work and second time we got a 2 single beds when I booked a double bed. Hotel condition is terrible.

We are senior citizens and decided to take a taxi from the taxi rank at the CPH airport - cost about USD35 to AC Bella Sky. The hotel is pretty good, and we found it to be quite comfortable. Unique architecture, but is very large - so a lot of walking within. Rooms are small, but not as small as many other hotels we stayed in Scandinavia. Coffee maker in room. Of course it is located approximately midway between the airport and the city centre/attractions, so cannot walk to much else. Fortunately the Metro station is a 10 minutes walk away, and we used the DSB app on the Metro to go to the city centre and back. If you wish there is also a large mall (Fields) about 20-30 min walk away - we went there one evening because BR Toys is located in that mall, and we wanted to buy some Legos for our grandchildren. (They had a big selection) That mall also has a food court, among other things. We were there in mid-August 2025.

The toilet pot in my room seemed to have been there for centuries. White turning to brown. Needs replacing urgently

I have mixed reviews about this hotel. Pros: Great location – only a 5-minute walk to the metro and 20 minutes to the city centre. The area is nice and quiet with restaurants, supermarkets, and coffee shops nearby. The room was spacious enough for two, with a large TV that supports Netflix/YouTube, two electric blinds (nice touch for big windows), a clean bathroom with large toiletries, and good wardrobe space. Cons: The room didn’t come with proper sleeping pillows, only cushions, which I found bizarre. I had to call for pillows, which were brought up, but they should have been there already. Check-in was a nightmare — my first payment didn’t go through on their end but did on mine, so I was charged twice. I later overheard other guests with the same issue, so it seems recurring. I’m still waiting for my refund, which is worrying when three digits come off your card twice and you’re left wondering when (or if) you’ll get it back. The air con didn’t work properly — no heat and weak airflow. The bathroom didn’t appear to have a fan, so steam stayed after showers (though we were always out by 9 AM, so unsure how long it lasted). Corridors don’t match the hotel’s appearance — dark, dated, (purple carpet) almost scary. And paying to rent an umbrella is ridiculous; that should be free rental service. We didn’t try the food in the restaurant or for breakfast so can’t comment. Would I stay here again? If they fix the payment issue, maybe. But as it stands, probably not.

Our stay here was lovely! Everyone working at the hotel was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but the gym was great - had everything you might need and was large, bright, and clean. Getting into the city center from the hotel is extremely easy, though note there’s a decent amount of amenities around the hotel like some great bakeries. I also found the surrounding streets lovely for running. My only complaint is really more of a modern hotel design trend - it’s really terrible to have a clear view to the bathroom and shower. I was traveling with my brother and this made it rather inconvenient. Overall our stay was still great and I’d stay here again.
