The location was perfect. The room was huge with incredible views of the harbor and the city. The owners took incredible care of us and made us incredible breakfasts each morning. Really the perfect place to stay in Valparaiso.

Marcelo and Gloria are wonderful hosts, and they have decorated the place so nicely it feels like home instantly. They are very helpful with directions and suggestions for visiting their town. The breakfast they prepared was by far the best we have had in our two month stay in Chile. It can’t be beat! There are several wonderful restaurants within a few blocks walk, and the neighborhood feels very safe at night. We recommend you stay three nights or more. Highly recommended!

Amazing accommodation, beautiful old hotel. The hosts were both so very lovely and helpful! The breakfast was delicious. The rooftop is also a huge perk, so nice to sit on while enjoying the view. The location is very central and easy to get around (but be prepared for hills!).

The hotel is beautifully decorated and preserved. The rooftop terrace and views are awesome. The attention to detail in the rooms and the common area was very high (we loved all the plants). It’s a historic building, so its quirks are also its charms. Breakfast was outstanding: various options, very well executed, excellent coffee. The owners are very nice, attentive, and helpful. The location is great, with lots of restaurants, bars, and sights within walking distance.

"Hotel Manoir Atkinson"

This hotel offered the most personalized service of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My husband and I felt as though we were given the best room in a friend’s house. Very comfortable, delicious breakfast, caring hosts. Beautiful view from our deck, wonderful place to share a bottle of wine. Perfect for us HIGHLY recommend!
