Excellent location with a view from the rooftop second to none. The location between the Cerro Concepcion and Cerro Alegre made for a perfect circle tour of the hills, artisans, eateries, viewpoints and murals. Marcelo and Gloria were extremely gracious and the breakfast menu rivalled anything at any other 5-star establishment.

A bit rustic and dated. However, the hosts easily countered the lack of an elevator by manhandling all luggage up the two flights of stairs.

You are guaranteed a warm welcome from the proprietors who went the extra mile and freely gave out helpful information and tips. A brilliant location for seeing all the main sights. Breakfasts were great. A limited choice but something for everyone and nicely presented. Our room had an excellent view. A large comfortable bed with loads of space around and an area with table and easy chairs. Also enough room for suitcases and all our paraphernalia. There was a lovely roof terrace but the weather wasn’t suitable during our stay. Excellent value for money. Perhaps not suitable for the less mobile as no lift.

The hotel is run by a very welcoming and friendly couple. From the moment we arrived we were made comfortable and our questions answered. Our room looked out over the bay with a fabulous view. The room had a comfortable bed, chairs and a table. Plenty of space for suitcases and belongings and a small balcony. There was a roof terrace available for the use by all the guests. The weather wasn’t favourable whilst we were there but on a nice afternoon/ evening would have been lovely to use. Hotel in a great location to see all the main sights in Valparaiso. Breakfast was homemade and delicious.

Wonderful.warm, accommodating hosts, Marcelo and Gloria. Fine breakfast. Fabulous location with stunning view of the harbor.

The climb to the top floor is a bit of a challenge, but the views are worth it. Marcelo was kind to carry our luggage up to and down from our top floor room.

I have stayed there before and they took very good care of me.

Beautiful

The location was beautiful and allowed us to go walking everywhere we needed to go. The hotel was very charming and unique, especially compared to the big well-known hotels that we have stayed in before, which are all virtually the same. The young couple who were running the hotel were very friendly and very helpful. They also cooked and served the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. Everything was lovely!
